Renzo Gracie
Renzo is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. He is a pioneer in the world of MMA. He is a pioneer in the art of Jiu-Jitsu. He is a man who needs no introduction. Renzo began training at the Gracie Academy in Copacabana with Rolls Gracie and later at Gracie Barra with Carlinhos Gracie. He earned his Black Belt and then began his MMA training. His fights include wins over Wataru Sakata, Alexander Otsuka, Oleg Taktarov, Carlos Newton, Pat Miletich. He began his MMA career in 1992 and never looked back. Always to the future. Renzo owns and operates the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City and is also the coach of the IFL Championship team the Pitbulls. Renzo currently lives, works and trains in New Jersey.
Daniel Ikemen Gracie
Daniel is born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. He his a two time World Champion in Jiu-Jitsu, a PRIDE veteran and a well rounded MMA fighter. He has trained with his cousin Renzo Gracie, whom he credits for his skills in Jiu-Jitsu. Daniel is an all around fighter, training Muay Thai, wrestling, boxing and complementing this with strength and conditioning. Daniel currently trains in New York City.
Rolles Gracie
Rolles was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and is the son of legendary Rolls Gracie. Rolles began his practice of Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu at the world famous Barra Gracie academy at the age of six. He is now a second degree Black Belt. Rolles' foray into MMA was a decisive win and he currently lives, trains and works in New York City.
Igor Gracie
Igor was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and is the son of legendary Rolls Gracie. Igor is a Black Belt from Barra Gracie and a Pan American and Mundials medalist as well as a two-time state champion in Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu. Igor has fought twice in the Ring of Combat. Igor lives, trains and works in New York City.
Gregor Gracie
Gregor is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and a Black Belt from Barra Gracie. Gregor is a two-time Mundial champion, a Brasilian champion, Pan American champion and a two-time Brasileiro de Equipes champion. Gregor's entry into MMA was a natural progression from Jiu-Jitsu competition. He is currently living, working and training in New York City.
Kyra Gracie
Kyra is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. As the first Gracie female to become a Champion as a Black Belt, Kyra is poised to enter the world of MMA. With twenty-five Championship titles, three times in the Mundials, five times in the Pan-Ams, six times in the Brasilian Championships, two times in Abu Dhabi Combat Club and nine times in other Brasilian Championships, Kyra is a true student of the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Kyra is currently training and preparing for her MMA debut.
Fabio Leopoldo
Fabio was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brasil. He is a Black Belt under Ryan Gracie. Fabio's notable victories in his Jiu-Jitsu championships include wins over such opponents as Gabriel 'Napao' Gonzaga, Fabrizio Werdum, Alexandre 'Xande' Ribeiro. Fabio began training MMA with Daniel and Ryan Gracie while in Sao Paulo. His first fight was in Japan with Pancrease and he has also fought in the United States. He was a Pitbull in the IFL. Today, Fabio is living, working and training in Ventura, California.
Dante Rivera
Dante is born and raised in New Jersey. He has made a career of Mixed Martial Arts and has appeared on The Ultimate Fighter House Season 7. Dante holds various belts, and is Black Belt in Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu under Renzo Gracie.
Braulio Estima
Braulio is a native of Brasil, who now resides in Birmingham, England. Braulio has well over 20 Championship Titles in both Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu and No Gi Submission Wrestling. He was the Absolute Champion of the most recent ADCC Tornament, the toughest and most well respected Jiu-Jitsu tournament in the world.
Ricardo Almeida
Ricardo was born and raised in the States, but began his study of Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Barra under Carlinhos Gracie in Rio de Janeiro. Ricardo later moved back to New Jersey and continued his study under Renzo Gracie. He was awarded the Black Belt by Renzo Gracie and he is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brasilian Jiu-JItsu, has competed and won in the UFC on several occasions, and has competed in the world’s biggest Submission Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts Championships.
Bryan Vetell
Bryan is a native of Brooklyn. Bryan is a Purple Belt under Renzo Gracie as well as a student of Greco-Roman wrestling during college. He was a member of the IFL Pitbulls. Bryan has fought against many tough opponents and is currently training, living and working in New York City.
Mike Van Arsdale
Mike is from Iowa and has been in the world of Mixed Martial Arts for over ten years. Mike has fought in the UFC. In the beginning of his career, Mike travelled to Brasil to compete in the International Vale Tudo Championships, where he won three consecutive fights in one night to claim the title. Mike began as a high school and college wrestler and has used that as his foundation in MMA.
Rafael 'Sapo' Natal
Rafael was born and raised in Minas Gerais, Brasil. He is a Brown Belt under Vinicius 'Draculino' Magalhaes, who is a well respected Black Belt from Barra Gracie. Rafael began his MMA career in Brasil, he has fought throughout Brasil and in the United States. He is currently training and living in New York City.
Jamal ‘The Suit’ Patterson
Jamal is born and raised in New Jersey. As a Black Belt under Renzo Gracie, Jamal has been affiliated with the team for many years. Jamal fought for the NY Pitbulls in the IFL.
Regiclaudio 'Kexada'
Regiclaudio is a native of Brasil. He is a Brown Belt in Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu under Daniel Gracie. He is also well versed in Chinese Boxing. Regiclaudio began his MMA career in Brasil and has fought throughout that country. He is currently living and training in Sao Caetano, Sao Paulo.
Marcelo Giudici
Marcelo is a native of Brasil and an MMA fighter for many years. He holds various Black Belts, including Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu under Ryan Gracie, Judo, Kung Fu and Chinese Boxing. His record in Chinese Boxing is 58-5-8. Marcelo has fought and won throughout Asia and Brasil.
Ariel Sexton
Ariel was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He later moved to San Jose, Costa Rica and began to learn the art of Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a Brown Belt under Mauro Sergio of Ryan Gracie Costa Rica. Ariel made his MMA debut in 2006 and has won great attention since then. He is in the UFC house Latin America.
Juan 'Juanito' Barrantes
Juan is born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. He is a Brown Belt under Mauro Sergio of Ryan Gracie Costa Rica. Juan first entered the MMA ring in 2006. Since then, he has had many notable opponents and is currently training, living and working in San Jose, Costa Rica.
John Cholish
John is from New York and attended Cornell University. It was here that John started for the Division I wrestling program. Upon graduating, he began training in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai under his professors, John Danaher and Joe Sampieri respectively. For the past two years, John has focused on his training in hi quest to become a truly well rounded MMA fighter.
Joe Sampieri
Joe is born and raised in New York City and has been a Muay Thai student for many years now.
Jordan Radev
Jordan is a native of Bulgaria. He is an Olympic wrestler and was the first Bulgarian MMA fighter to fight in the UFC in the middleweight division.
Eddie Fyvie
Eddie is born and raised in Schenectady, NY. Eddie began training Jiu-Jitsu at the young age of eleven. By the time he reached 22, Eddie had received his Black Belt from Ricardo Almeida and Chad Beatty. Eddie’s premier pro fight was at the age of 18, since that time he has fully dedicated himself to training and teaching. Eddie has recently signed a contract with the UFC.
Mark ‘Boots’ Holst
Mark is a native of Canada. He has been training in various Martial Arts since the age of 15. His Muay Thai and Kickboxing experience has yielded him a combined Pro / Am record of 19 - 3. Also a student of Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mark trains at Renzo Gracie Academy of Ottawa. With several titles and impressive wins over MMA veterans, Mark is a fighter for today’s MMA.
Maka Watson
Maka is born and raised in Hawaii. In 2006, Maka moved to the Big Island and began training Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu. His first MMA fight came in 2007 which he won by rear naked choke. Since his debut, he has remained undefeated. Recently moved to Las Vegas, Maka is continuing his training in MMA, Muay Thai and Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Ali Abdel Aziz
Ali is born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He is a Black Belt in Judo, has over 500 Judo fights and was an Olympic competitor in Judo. He came to the United States to continue his life in Judo. Soon after, he began his MMA training with Greg Jackson and later with Renzo Gracie, both well known and well respected coaches. Today, Ali lives, works and trains in New York City.
